Regina Hall, Brooke D'Orsay and Charles Murphy have been added to the cast of King's Ransom.

Jay Mohr and Kellita Smith have been signed up to star alongside Anthony Anderson in King's Ransom. The movie is being directed by Jeff Byrd and written by Wayne Conley at New Line Cinema. The movie follows a rich, cocky, despised businessman (Anderson) who realizes that he might lose half his wealth to the obnoxious wife he's trying to divorce. He decides to arrange his own kidnapping in order to wipe himself out and claim poverty, but he discovers that several other parties have plans to kidnap and ransom him as well.

Director jeff Byrd has signed up Anthiny Anderson, Donald Faison and Loretta Devine to star in King's Ransom for New Line Cinema. The script has been written by Wayne Conley and will follow a rich, cocky and despised businessman (Anderson) who realizes that he might lose half his wealth to the obnoxious wife he's trying to divorce. He decides to arrange his own kidnapping in order to wipe himself out and claim poverty, but he discovers that several other parties have plans to kidnap and ransom him as well.

Scary Movie 3 star Anthony Anderson is being hunted to appear in New Line Cinema's movie King's Ransom. Anderson will play a rich, cocky and generally despised businessman who realizes he might lose half his wealth to the obnoxious wife he's trying to divorce. He decides to arrange his own kidnapping in order to wipe himself out and claim poverty, but he discovers that several other parties have plans to kidnap and ransom him as well. The film is being directed by Jeff Byrd from a Wayne Conley script.
