Beth Hurt all having signed on. The plot centres
on a building superintendent finding a sea nymph
in his apartment's swimming pool. Yes you did
read that plot right, no doubt there'll be a
twist and that she isn't a sea nymph.

M. Night Shyamalan will write and direct the fantasy thriller "Lady in the Water" for Warner Bros. Pictures. The film revolves around the superintendent of an apartment building who discovers a rare type of sea nymph swimming in the apartment pool. Production starts in August in Philadelphia. It is set to be released in July 2006.
