Just received the following information on Large's Ark "part of the movie was filmed in my house. they took over for four days. very cool. Zach is awesome, really nice and fun. Ian got sick when they were filming here but he's an amazing actor and pulled it off. i didn't really speak to Natalie, my dad did but they wouldn't really let us talk to her much. she looks very different in photo shoots, movies, and in person. my house is Andrew Largemans's house in the movie they said it will be in the movie for aprox 15 mins. they used the great room, den, kitchen, dinning room, mastor bedroom, and my sisters bedroom. In the fist shivah scene i walk across and in the funeral scene you see the top of my head I'm one of the blonde ones (the older/taller of the two)." Thanks to Jules

Friday 7th March 2003: Large's Ark Update:
Camelot Pictures has reportedly come aboard to finance Jersey Films' Large's
Ark, a romantic drama which marks the feature directorial debut of Scrubs
star Zach Braff. He stars in the film alongside Natalie Portman and Ian
Holm, with Peter Sarsgaard negotiating to join them. The film tells the
story of a young man who returns home for his mum's funeral after being
estranged from his family for a decade. Production will begin in April in
New Jersey and L.A.

Wednesday 18th September 2002: Large's Ark Update:
Zach Braff looks to have snagged Natalie Portman to star in his directorial debut Large's Ark. Large' Ark is being made by Jersey Films and Zach Braff has also written the script and will take the male lead alongside Portman. He had this to say about it "I play this guy who has been estranged from his family for 10 years, and comes home for the first time for his mother's funeral, He has lost every shred of who he was as a person, and the catalyst for his recovery is this young girl he meets when he returns. I always thought Natalie Portman would be perfect, but I never imagined that she would actually say yes."
