21st May 2004: The Last Face Update:
Javier Bardem & Robin Wright Penn have been signed
up to star in The Last Face that is being written and
directed by Erin Dignam. Also signed up for a supporting
role is Sean Penn. The movie is a drama following two
relief workers in western Africa who have an unrequited
love affair. Filming starts in July in Cape Town, South
Africa.

Sean Penn, Javie Bardem and Robin Wright Penn have been
signed up to star in The Last Face. The movie is being
written and directed by Erin Dignam and is being produced
by Tf1 International on a budget of $20 million. The
movie will follow two humanitarian doctors who fall
in love while working in war-torn Africa.
