John Woo's second unit director, Brian Smrz, is to helm his first project in the form of The Last Loyalty based on the true story of a Navy SEAL and the highly trained German shepherd scout dog that changes his life. Jeffrey Moldavon has written the script while Woo and Terence Chang produce. The project is based at Avi Lerner's Millennium Films.
