Lil Bow Wow's debut feature Like Mike has had its release date moved. The basketball comedy from 20th Century Fox will now hit US theaters on July 3rd. This puts the film up against heavyweight Men In Black 2 and Powerpuff Girls, an animated movie from Warner Brothers.

Like Mike is the feature film debut of kiddie rapper Lil Bow Wow and the title refers to former Chicago Bulls basketball hero Michael Jordan. The film has kicked off its shoot (January 2002) in Los Angeles, CA.

The film will feature a number of NBA Basketball stars that include Allen Iverson, Karl Malone, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutombo, Kevin Garnett, Jason Kidd, Tracy McGrady, Gary Payton, Rasheed Wallace and maybe Michael Jordan himself (unconfirmed). (info from Upcoming Movies).
