Here's the first promo images for Brittany Murphy's
next rom com Little Black Book, Murphy stars alongside
Holly Hunter, Kathy Bates and Ron Livingstone in a tale
of a TV producer who rummages round her boyfriend's
palm pilot for details of his ex partners, and naturally
things get complicated. The movie is released in the
US on the 6th August and the UK on 29th October.

Revolution Studios have moved forward the release of
Little Black Book from October 15th to August 6th. Very
positive feedback from test audiences seem to be the
reason.

as 15th October 2004.

Director Nick Hurran has signed up Josie Maran to the
cast of Little Black
Book to play Lulu, a comically self-absorbed French
model who once dated
Derek (Ron Livingston), the current beau of a talk show
producer (Brittany
Murphy).
Wednesday
2nd July 2003: Little Black Book Update:
Ron Livingston, who plays Sarah Jessica Parker's
latest flame on Sex and the City, has been cast as the
male lead opposite Brittany Murphy in romantic comedy
Little Black Book for British helmer Nick Hurran. Production
is slated to begin next month, with Kathy Bates, Holly
Hunter and Julianne Nicholson also starring.

27th June 2003: Little Black Book Update:
Director Nick Hurran has signed up Kathy Bates to the
cast of Little Black
Book. Also starring in the movie are Brittany Murphy
and Julianne
Nicholson. The script has been written by Melissa Carter
and Elisa Bell.
The movie is being produced by Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas,
William Sherak and
Jason Shuman. Production co is Blue Star Pictures and
will be distributed
by Revolution Pictures. The movie will follow
Murphy as Stacy, an associate producer for a daytime
talk show who opens up
a Pandora's box when she goes into her boyfriend's Palm
Pilot to learn more
about his ex-girlfriends but ends up learning much more
about herself.
Bates plays Kippie Kann, the host of the talk show.
Nicholson plays Joyce
Adams, an ex-girlfriend of Stacy's boyfriend.

to helm Little Black Book that will start filming this
summer. The script is being written by Elisa Bell and
centres on a associate producer for a daytime talk show
who opens up a Pandora's box when she goes into her
boyfriend's Palm Pilot to learn more about his ex-girlfriends
and ends up learning much more about herself.

Brittany Murphy has reportedly signed a £3
million deal to star in new
romantic comedy Little Black Book. It is thought to
be the 8 Mile star's
biggest deal to date, having received less than £1
million for her latest
film, Molly Gunn. In the new film, which starts shooting
this summer, Murphy reportedly plays an associate producer
for a daytime talk show. She opens up a Pandora's Box
when she goes into her boyfriend's Palm Pilot to learn
more about his ex-girlfriends, but she ends up learning
much more about herself.
