Kal Penn is to appear in A Lot Like Love as a friend to Ashton
Kutcher's character and partner in their Internet startup company.

27th January 2004: A Lot Like Love Update:
Amanda Peet and Ashton Kutcher have been signed up to star in
A Lot Like Love that is being developed by Beacon Pictures for
Walt Disney Pictures. Nigel Cole has been signed up to direct,
with the script by Colin Patrick Lynch. The movie will centre
on a guy and a girl who manage to resist their mutual attraction
over the years only to see fate throwing them back together.
Filming starts in April.
Friday 12th December 2003: A Lot Like Love Update:
Ashton Kutcher is considering making his next starring vehicle a comedy called A Lot Like Love. Nigel Cole is set to direct the Colin Patrick Lynch-penned project. The film would find him starring as the other half of a twentysomething couple who find each other at the wrong time. Kutcher has been attending readings of the script opposite a string of potential female co-stars. A spring start is scheduled.

Walt Disney and Beacon Pictures have signed up to finance and
produce A Lot
Like Love. The movie will be directed by Nigel Cole and has
been written by
Colin Patrick Lynch. The movie will follow a twenty-something
couple who
