Tuesday 19th October 2004: Lucky Number Slevin update:
Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman may possible be up for roles in Paul McGuigan and FilmEngine's Lucky Number Slevin already starring Josh Hartnett, Lucy Liu and Ben Kingsley. The story concerns a man who's confused with the friend whose apartment he is staying in and forced by a gangland boss to assassinate his archenemy's son. The script comes from Jason Smilovic.

Monday 4th October 2004: Lucky Number Sleven update:
Sexy Beast Ben Kingsley has joined Josh Hartnett and Lucy Liu in the cast of Lucky Number Sleven for director Paul McGuigan and writer Jason Smilovic. Kingsley will play Shlomo (aka the Rabbi), the head of the biggest crime syndicate in New York. Hartnett's character is caught in a case of mistaken identity and used by the mob boss as a patsy in a murder conspiracy. Filming will begin on December 7 in Montreal and New York.

Kill Bill's Lucy Liu is in talks to star opposite Josh Hartnett in Lucky Number Sleven. She would play Lynda, a sexy coroner who falls in love with Sleven (Hartnett), whose death she helps to stage.

Tuesday 24th August 2004: Lucky Number Sleven Update:
Director Paul McGuigan is helming the gangster noir Lucky Number Sleven with Pearl Harbor's Josh Hartnett set to star. The Jason Smilovic script is set in a world where African-American and Jewish gangsters collide. Hartnett plays a man who has to kill the son of a rival crime boss.
