George Clooney is close to starring in this TV adaptation with
LL Cool J hot favourite to appear as helicopter pilot, Thomas
"T.C." Calvin.

27th January 2004: Magnum P.I. Update:
News reaches us that Mike McCullers has been signed up to write
the script for Magnum P.I. that is being developed by producer
Brian Grazer. What is interesting is that they are floating
the idea of getting Tom Selleck to play the character.
Friday 21st November 2003: Magnum PI Update:
George Clooney has stepped forward as the likely man to revive the Magnum PI series as a movie stating he has always wanted to play the role.
Wednesday 12th November 2003: Magnum P.I. Update:
McKenzie has been in touch with the following "Brian Grazer from Imagine Entertainmentstudio has gotten a hold of the rights to do a big screen version of MAGNUM PI,at this time no cast has been announced but i've heard that Michael McCullers who helped write Goldmember is doing the script."
Wednesday 24th September 2003: Magnum P.I. Update:
Image Entertainment via Brian Grazer have picked up the movie rights to Magnum P.I. for development at Universal Pictures. He will produce the movie with the co-creator of the show Donald Bellisario and have charged Michael McCullers to write the script.
