Over here we've recently been treated to American export The Jamie Kennedy Experiment on Channel 4, a show that is kind of a Beadle's About for the Farrelly generation, where Kennedy (film geek from the Scream movies) assumes various characters and unleashes himself on the general public. One such creation proved popular, his white rapper B-Rad from the Malibu 'hood whose rich roots haven't stopped him from pursuing a career in hip-hop. B-Rad is set for a move to the big screen and the story involves the youngster being subjected to the real life of a gangster in Compton after his father (Ryan O'Neal) is sick of his chances of becoming governor being thwarted by the actions of his offspring. The movie will also feature Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs, and Damien Wayans and directed by John Whitesell (See Spot Run). Sounds like a Stateside Ali G so far.
