Hooly Peterson's book The Manny has been snapped up by Columbia Pictures and Red Wagon for movie development. The book centres on a male nanny who falls for the divorced mother of his charge.

Paramount Pictures have charged production co. Guy Walks Into A Bar with developing The Manny. The script will be written by David Berenbaum and follows a young boy who's mastered the art of ridding himself of nanny supervision through myriad devilish schemes.
