29th November 2004 Million Dollar Baby Update:
After the superb quality of Mystic River you would have
thought that Warner Bros. whould be shouting from the rooftops
about Clint's next movie Million Dollar Baby. So why does it
appear to have slipped totally under the radar for it's release
on 17th January is a mystery. Or is it, well no when you consider
it's only getting a very limited release then followed up by
a wide release on 21st January. And if you still hadn't guessed,
let me explain: OSCAR. I mean it stars Clint, Hilary Swank and
Morgan Freeman and you don't get much classier than that. If
you can catch this on its limited release. I'd say the chances
of it being brilliant are pretty high.

31st March 2004: Million Dollar Baby Update:
Clint Eastwood's next project has been announced at Million
Dollar Baby. Clint will direct, produce and star in the project,
also in talks to star Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman. The movie
is based on two short stories by F.X. Toole and is being adapted
by Paul Haggis and is a tragic and platonic love story involving
a woman in her early 30s who is determined to begin a boxing
career and a fighter-turned-trainer. Warner Bros. are developing
the project that will start filming in June in L.A.
