20th December 2004 Monster-In-Law Update:
Not many people get second chances to re-start their movie
career, but next year J.Lo gets two with this one and also Lasse
Halstrom's An Unfinished Life. Funnily enough both movies revolve
around relationships with in-laws. The similarities stop there
as Monster-In-Law is an out and out broad comedy whereas An
Unfinished Life will no doubt be another worthy movie from Hallstrom,
dull but worthy. But will either of them be the one that resurrects
her career or be the end of it. Me I'm betting on Monster-In-Law
being the one to resurrect it.
