6th January 2005: Mr & Mrs Smith Update:
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie directed by The Bourne Identity
director Doug Liman sounds like a sure fire package doesn't
it. Then just why was there so much re-shoots on this project,
at one stage I even thought the re-shoots were getting re-shoots.
Having said that the trailer was damn good, and if it is good,
and let's pray the reshoots were all about making an already
good movie great. Could be one of the BIG hits of the year if
it was!

12th March 2004: Mr & Mrs Smith Update:
Illness has been running rife through the cast and crew on the
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie starring Mr and Mrs Smith. The
filming has had to be temporarily postponed while they all recover
from the flu like virus. Both Brad and Angelina have been sick
several times, they have been reinfecting each other as they
have had to film several kissing scenes!

The filming has started on Mr & Mrs Smith already it has
been revealed. UK rag The Sun has managed to score two pics
of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt during filming, Angelina is
looking fantastic and Brad has had his head shaved for the role

21st January 2004: Mr and Mrs Smith Update:
Adam Brody has been added to the cast of Mr and Mrs Smith as
Hector, who gets kidnapped early in the movie, but plays a vital
role later on.

22nd August 2003: Mr & Mrs Smith Update:
Well, last week the production looked doomed, but this week
it's all systems go, with Angelina Jolie filling the Mrs Smith
role, it also means Brad Pitt has decided to stay on the project.
It is hoped to start filming on the project at the end of the
year, which fits in nicely with Jolie finishing work on Alexander.

6th August 2003: Mr and Mrs Smith Update:
After losing leading lady Nicole Kidman a month ago because
of scheduling
conflicts, Brad Pitt is also reported to be close to leaving
Regency
Enterprises' Mr and Mrs Smith. It is not yet known if Brad Pitt
will seek out another project
before Ocean's Twelve starts in Rome in February. Mr & Mrs
Smith doesn't
appear to be dead though as other actors such as Will Smith
and Johnny Depp
are thought to be interested.

22nd July 2003: Mr and Mrs Smith Update:
Catherine Zeta-Jones has emerged as a frontrunner to join Brad
Pitt in Mr
and Mrs. Smith. Nicole Kidman had been set to play the female
lead, until
her The Stepford Wives schedule created a conflict. The Doug
Liman film is
about a bored married couple who discover they are enemy assassins
hired to
kill each other.
 Tuesday
25th February 2003: Mr & Mrs Smith Update:
Director Doug Liman is in negotiations with Nicole Kidman
and Brad Pitt to star in Mr and Mrs Smith. The movie is in development
over at Regency Enterprises by Akiva Goldman and Patrick Wachsberger
via their productions companies Summit Entertainment and Weed
Road Pictures with the script having been written by Simon Kinberg.
The movie will tell the tale of a married couple who discover
they are both hired assassions who get hired to kill each other.
Saturday
16th November 2002: Mr and Mrs Smith Update:
Doug Liman looks to have been signed up by Regency Enterprises
to direct a movie to be called Mr and Mrs Smith. The script
has been written by Simon Kinsberg and will tell the tale of
a married couple who discover they are both assassins hired
to kill each other!
