Elizabeth Perkins is replacing Kyra Sedgwick in Warner Bros.
Pictures' Must Love Dogs. Sedgwick dropped out citing scheduling
conflicts. Written and directed by Gary David Goldberg, "Dogs"
centers on a divorcee (Diane Lane) who, after choosing another
Mr. Wrong, swears off dating. Her close-knit Irish-American
family enrolls her in a number of online dating programs. The
film is based on Claire Cook's 2002 novel.

5th October 2004: Must Love Dogs update:
Warner Bros. Pictures have signed Kyra Sedgwick and Diane Lane
to star as sisters in Must Love Dogs. The movie revolves around
a divorcee whose Irish-American family enrolls her in a number
of online dating programs after she decides to give up on men.
Spin City's Gary David Goldberg writes and directs.

writer/director Gary David Goldberg. Lane will play a divorcee
