30th December 2003 A Night in Old Mexico Update:
Robert Duvall will start filming this modern western in
the Spring. "It's an original script written by Bill Wittliff,
who wrote the adaptation of 'Lonesome Dove,"' says Duvall.
"It's about a guy who is going to have his ranch and everything
taken away because the bank foreclosed, and he gets his grandson
and his son he hasn't seen in years and heads to Mexico for
one last hurrah in a whorehouse. It's a raging-against-old-age
statement." Walter Hill is tipped to direct.
