Dennis Hopper is returning to the director's chair for A Night in Old Mexico with producer David Valdes. The road movie follows Robert Duvall as an aging man who travels to Mexico with his grandson. The script comes from Bill Wittliff.

Robert Duvall will start filming this modern western in the Spring. "It's an original script written by Bill Wittliff, who wrote the adaptation of 'Lonesome Dove,"' says Duvall.
