Ok, I know we've shown you pics from the filming of Ocean's
12 a fair few times already.So these brand spanking new official
ones won't be showing anything we haven't shown you already,
but I'm sure you'll want to see them anyway. Ocean's 12 has
been set as a 10th December release in the US, and for once
just two weeks after that in the UK.

The Ocean's Twelve ensemble has moved to Rome this month to
continue filming including shots at the cities Termini train
station. Hello! scored some set pics here.

And Mr White gets the goodies once again. This time scoring
the first pics of Catherine Zeta Jones filming Ocean's 12 in
Amsterdam. As you'll see by the pics she's attending a funeral.
Naturally we won't reveal why...There's also a couple of pics
of Brad Pitt looking mean and moody.

24th May 2004: Ocean's Twelve Update:
While the stars schmoozed their way through the crowds of the
Monaco Grand Prix at the weekend Eddie Izzard revealed on the
Jonothan Ross show that he had a role in the sequel as a bomb
disposal expert. The film stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt
Damon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Bernie
Mac and Julia Roberts. Stars Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Elliott
Gould, Eddie Jemison and Carl Reiner round out the cast. Expect
a US release on December 10th with Europe left in the pits having
to wait until the 15th.

Just received the following cool casting info on Ocean's 12.
"
I went to a free screening of Troy tonight and beforehand they
played the Ocean's 12 teaser. It had a rapid list of cast names,
and stated that they're ALL back, and I saw Shaobo Qin's name
among those listed,
contrary to past rumors." Thanks to D!

19th April 2004 Ocean's 12 Update:
The Z Review is proud to present another world exclusive!
The FIRST pictures of George Clooney and Director Steven Soderbergh
filming Ocean's 12! They were filming yesterday at Lake Forest
Train station near Chicago. In the scene we have scored pics
of Danny Ocean (who eagle eyes amongst you will notice is wearing
a wedding ring...) is opening a Bank account and realises that
he is late for the train he has to catch and has to hot foot
it to try and catch it. Looks like George is really enjoying
himself filming Ocean's 12 as he took time out to play basketball
and sign autograph's for hundreds of local fans! Filming now
moves on to Rome, Paris and Amsterdam.

Filming has started in Rome on Ocean's Twelve, but Brad Pitt
and George Clooney have not had a lot of success with the hotel
they have been staying at, after returning from a jog, they
were refused admission to the hotel by the concierge who thought
they were vagrants!

Just a day after changing her agent representation Catherine
Zeta Jones has snapped up a role in one of this years plum projects,
Ocean's Twelve. She will play a Europol agent called Isabel

FilmJerk have been in touch with the following scoop on Ocean's
Twelve "Three weeks after FilmJerk.com
uncovered the news that Ocean’s Twelve was searching for
a replacement for one of Danny Ocean’s original set of
accomplices in the first film, we’ve now learned that
the production is casting a new character set to appear in the
sequel. Of course, she has a tie to one of Ocean’s gang
of grafters, she is the ex-fiancée of Rusty Ryan (played
by Brad Pitt)."

7th January 2004: Ocean's Twelve Update:
While promoting his then-latest film in October, George Clooney
told journalists that “the whole gang” would be
back for “Ocean’s Twelve,” the sequel to 2001’s
“Ocean Eleven” that he produced and starred in.
Unfortunately, it seems that at least one of the actors that
was a part of the first film will not be making the trip overseas
for the next big heist. According to FilmJerk.com sources, the
role of Yen – the Chinese acrobat that Shaobo Qin played
in the original – is now being recast.
Since hearing this from several sources this past week, we have
since verified that casting documents, which are sent to actors’
agents in order to set up auditions with suitable clients, have
now been distributed for the role.
The start of filming is now confirmed to be April, which was
pushed back a month after an injury to co-star Brad Pitt on
the "Troy" set. In between "Troy" and "Twelve,"
Pitt will be filming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," according
to a Fox publicist, with it "starting shooting in Los Angeles
soon...[the film] may come to New York City in late February
or early March to shoot some scenes."

Filming on Ocean's Twelve has reportedly been delayed until April because Brad Pitt suffered a heel injury on the set of Troy. During the delay, Geroge Clooney will visit his production company's The Jacket, which starts filming next month in Scotland.
Monday 17th November 2003: Ocean's Twelve Update:
The following info on the Ocean's Twelve filming has just been sent in, and it's quite an important change. "Following a contact per e-mail with the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam on Nov. 10th, it seems that there has been a change of plan concerning the script of Ocean's 12. The painting 'the Nightwatch' has proven much too big to make it believable that they would steal it (to be honest, anyone who has seen the painting for real would know this, which is why the original idea sounded a little bit far fatched). It seems that that robbery is to be replaced by the roberry of a Faberge egg in the Hermitage in St Petersburg."

George Clooney has been talking about Ocean's Twelve "We start March first. We're shooting in Paris, a little bit in Amsterdam and a little bit in Rome for a while. Yeah, it's a tough shoot, it's really hard to do, really awful to do it. It's gonna be fun. We're gonna have a good time. And we got everybody, everybody came back. We've, you know, the first thing that happens is everybody starts talking, and they go, 'OK, now we've had a big hit.' So, immediately it became kind of these big negotiations and stuff, and it wasn't really interesting. And then, you know, we all sat in a room, we said, 'Look, let's do it for five percent less, and then we can be able to say we're there because we want to be there because that's truly why we're there.' So we all just said, 'OK, let's do it that way. It's fine. We had a good time doing the last one. And, you know, we made good money in the back end. So if it works it works and if it doesn't, we get to make a movie again together'. So it's been fun".

'a gallery in Amsterdam' is the Rijksmuseum, the 'national' museum of the Netherlands, with loads of Dutch masters. But I don't think they'll be recording there, as the museum is renovated. "
Monday 8th September 2003: Ocean's Twelve Update:
The plot for Ocean's Twelve will apparently feature three major heists, one of will see George Clooney and the gang target Rembrandt's Nightwatch painting, which is kept in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The details were revealed by producer Jerry Weintraub in an interview with a Dutch newspaper. He also confirmed that French actor Vincent Cassel will be the twelfth man joining the gang.

Rumours are circulating that Vincent Cassel has been signed up to the cast
of Ocean's Twelve. The plot of the movie will this time focus on three
robberies with filming being planned for Rome, Paris, Amsterdam and New
York starting next Feruary.

News reaches us that George Clooney has announced that Ocean's Twelve will

Andy Garcia has been talking about Ocean's Twelve and whether he might return "I haven’t gotten a call. I still don’t know if I am still going to be chasing those guys, or what.That’s one thing that I said to Steven in the script; the only note I had in the script I said, “Steven, you know I wouldn’t let George [Clooney] go if it is not for a specific reason.” You know, I would let him go, because he is gonna lead me to [my] money. Bernie Mac has been talking about being signed up for the Ocean's Eleven sequel "Jerry [Weintraub] called me. Jerry, he's the big boss, you know, and he's still got that old mentality. He will tell you what to do. He called me and he said, 'Hey Bernie! We're doing Ocean's 12. You be there in February. Everyone's coming back. Don't let me look for you.' Click. That's the last I heard. So I think I'd better be in it, you know what I mean? That's how Jerry is, you know, it ain't no big thing. But all the guys coming back, and if this story fits, it's only [he gives a thumbs up]. I'm flattered to come back. I really am. Steven [Soderbergh] asked me back. Man, that's a beautiful thing."

Director Steven Soderbergh is hard at work prepping Ocean's Twelve with word that filming is due to take place next February in Europe. The script is currently being rewritten by George Nolfi. Ocean's Twelve is being produced by Jerry Weintraub.

Director Steven Soderbergh has been talking about the in development Ocean's Twelve "When we were coming back from doing press in December 2001, I asked everybody if the idea of a sequel appealed and they were cool. But they had to make a promise: that is, we're gonna be the first sequel in history that costs exactly the same as the first one. And since the scale of the sequel's gonna be even bigger, they're all gonna have to take an even bigger pay cut than last time. I think somebody needs to do this - stop the idea that the second one has to be more expensive."

Ocean's Twelve continues to make steam with word that Warners and Village Roadshow are looking to start filming the movie in March 2004. Jerry Weintraub will return as producer with George Clooney in the lead role and Steven Soderbergh directing. It also looks like the script will be by George Nolfi and based on the script he has written called Honor Among Thieves that Warners have asked him to rewrite with an Ocean's Eleven flavour.

George Clooney confirmed at the premiere of his directorial debut 'Confessions of a Dangerous Mind', that a sequel to Ocean's Eleven is indeed being written and production will hopefully start next year (2004). He also said that they had not managed to come up with a title yet.

George Clooney has been talking about the in development Ocean's 12 and he has revealed that filming will commence in the middle of next year and Barbara Streisand may make an appearance in the movie.

Don't take this as concrete news, but George Clooney was being interviewed by Entertainment Weekly, where he was asked what was next for him after his upcoming Solaris. He replied 'Ocean's 12', in a very sarcastic manner. Any truth in it? I doubt it, but who knows.

Director Steven Soderbergh has been talking about the rumoured Ocean's Eleven sequel and it looks like it's a goer "I know we can make a better film than `Ocean's Eleven.' I've been playing with ideas in my head, but nothing is materialized. I know we'll shoot in Europe and that all actors are in on it." Filming is thought to be sometime in 2004.

Variety report that Ted Griffin, the writer of Soderburgh's remake of the Rat Pack movie Ocean's Eleven, has been commissioned by Warner Brothers and Village Roadshow to pen a sequel, Ocean's Twelve.
It's not yet known who will return for the sequel.
