Trachtenberg will play a 17-year-old boarding school student who is considered the golden girl of her high school. She quickly becomes arch-enemies with a new student (Phillips), who has been sent reluctantly to the school by her troubled mother. Michelle Trachtenberg is in final talks to star opposite Bijou Phillips in the independent film Odd Girl Out. Shooting is scheduled to start in January in Los Angeles with Deepika Daggubati at the helm. Trachtenberg will play a 17-year-old boarding school student who is considered the golden girl of her high school. She quickly becomes arch-enemies with a new student (Phillips), who has been sent reluctantly to the school by her troubled mother. More problems arise when Phillips' character falls in love with the cousin of Trachtenberg's character.
