Dreamworks
has greenlit a sequel to Old School, and it's
going to be called, wait for it....Old School
2! Todd Phillips will direct and co-write the
movie with Scot Armstrong. No word if Will Ferrell,
Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson will return as
yet or what the plot will be.

Director Todd Phillips has revealed in an interview
that there will be NO Old School 2 "No, we're not
going to do Old School 2. I had a little fall-out with
DreamWorks over this movie Eurotrip. I felt like they
really marketed it off of my two movies even though
I had nothing to do with it and it looked like the worst
movie ever, but somehow I got dragged into it and it
made me crazy. I said, 'If you do this, I won't do Old
School 2.' And they said, 'Well, this is business and
we've got to worry about this movie right now.' So,
I said, 'All right."

Luke
Wilson has revealed what the general outline of Old
School 2 will be "The basic plot is we all go to
Daytona Beach, Florida for spring break"

A
sequel to hit comedy Old School is in the works. The
original film, which
starred Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn,
made $75 million
domestically and was produced for only $24 million.
The sequel is still
early in development, with Ferrell, Wilson and Vaughn
all likely to return.
