Ralph Zondag has been signed up by Regency Enterprises to direct Ollie the Otter. The CG movie will be based on the kids book by Kelly Alan Williamson that follows a circus sea otter named Ollie who tires of doing the same old stunts at the behest of his demanding father. Ollie leaves his family and the aquatic circus behind to find himself.

Regency Enterprises has hired Billy Frolick ("Madagascar") to scribe the script for the upcoming animated CG feature "Ollie." Frolick is set to deliver the "Ollie" script for storyboarding soon. Northern California-based CritterPix Studios will begin full-scale production.

Regency have picked up the best-selling children's book Ollie the Otter by Kelly Alan Williamson to turn into a CGI movie. It follows a courageous sea otter who leads a group of domesticated sea park friends to open water to save his family from perishing at the hands of a rogue and amazingly vain killer whale. Williamson's CritterPix Studios will co-finance.
