One Perfect Day launches online.

One Perfect Day (OPD), a Lightstream Films production, starring Dan Spielman (The Secret Life Of Us), Leeanna Walsmann (Star Wars), Kerry Armstrong (Lantana), Nathan Phillips (Australian Rules) and Abbie Cornish (Monkeys Mask) hits Australian cinemas February 2004. Roadshow Films have picked up OPD for wide, national release and Universal Music Australia release the soundtrack album November 2003.

Directed by Paul Currie and Produced by Phil Gregory and Charles Morton, One Perfect Day is a story about the lives of young people today, told through Tommy Matisse, a classically trained DJ. The death of Tommy’s sister Emma, pulls him from his studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London into Melbourne’s dance world, a place where he can be himself.

The soundtrack features a unique collection of exclusively commissioned, licensed and previously unreleased tracks from local and international artists including; Paul van Dyk, Elton John, Fat Boy Slim, Underworld, The Dust Brothers, Groove Armada, Moby, Robert Smith, Orbital, Photek, CJ Bolland, Ms Dynamite, Lamb, Blur, Cardigans, Queens Of The Stone Age; and Australian artists including Josh Abrahams, Paul Mac, Mandy Kane, Sandrine, David Hobson and Lisa Gerrard.
