30th September 2004: Opus update:
Miramax and Dimension Films have signed a multi-year
deal with animation company Wild Brain. Opus is to be
their first joint project, based on a wise-cracking
penguin from the comic strip Bloom County. A script
by Craig Mazin is due next week. -Variety

Writer Craig Mazin has been signed up by Dimension to
adapt Opus from Berkeley Breathed's Pulitzer Prize-winning
comic strip "Bloom County"
