Morgan York will appear alongside Vin Diesel in The Pacifier.

More casting news on The Pacifier with the addition of Lauren
Graham and Faith Ford. The movie starts filming in Vancouver
this month. Graham will star opposite Diesel's character as
the principal of the school where he's working undercover, with
Ford starring as the mother of the kids that his character is
protecting.

22nd March 2004: The Pacifier Update:
Disney's "The Pacifier" has now decided to shoot in
Vancouver, with Brad "Jackie Gleason" Garrett signing
on for a supporting role. The film starts shooting in April
with Adam "Bringing Down The House" Shankman diecting.
Star Vin Diesel plays an undercover agent hired to protect a
government scientist and his family. Garrett is a double Emmy-winner
for his work on "Everybody Loves Raymond".

and principal in the Vin Diesel starring The Pacifier.

27th February 2004: The Pacifier Update:
Vin "Chronicles of Riddick" Diesel is heading to Toronto
this spring to star in Disney's "THE PACIFIER". Premise
has Diesel portraying a an undercover agent who, after failing
to protect a government scientist, redeems himself by agreeing
to be a bodyguard to the man's children. Adam "Bringing
Down The House" Shankman directs the Spyglass Entertainment
production. Screenplay is by Robert Ben Garent and Thomas Lennon.
Filming will be at Toronto's Cinespace Film Studios.

The Dozen) has been added to the cast and is playing the younger
sister of Brittany Snow.

is protecting.

We received some new updates today about Vin Diesel's next project,
The Pacifier, a comedy that Adam Shankman will direct for Walt
Disney Pictures. First up is 'Chris' from FilmJerk with an update
on the shooting.
"The question of whether action star Vin Diesel can do
comedy is getting closer to being answered. FilmJerk.com has
learned that filming on Walt Disney Pictures' "Pacifier,"
which he will star in, is scheduled to begin April 10 in Toronto,
with casting now underway for four of the five children he will
protect in the film. Will his first comedy establish him as
the Sylvester Stallone of the current generation or an actor
capable of making the transition?"

8th January 2004: The Pacifier Update:
Warner Bros. has signed up Adam Shankman to direct The Pacifier
that will star Vin Diesel. The script has been written by Thomas
Lennon and Robert Garent and will follow an an undercover agent
who botches a job protecting a scientist and tries to redeem
himself by protecting the man's kids. The tough guy agent discovers
that child care is not an easy assignment.
Filming will start this April.

Pacifier
Update:
Walt Disney Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment are teaming
on the action-comedy The Pacifier, with Vin Diesel set to star.
The film is the story of an undercover agent who, after failing
to protect an important government scientist, learns the man's
family is in danger. In an effort to redeem himself, he agrees
to take care of the man's children only to discover that child
care is his toughest mission yet. The film is expected to start
shooting in the spring.
