Rumours are circulating that Mike Myers is being lined
up for the lead role in The Party.
Thursday
23rd January 2003: The Party Update:
Director Jay Roach has signed on to direct a remake of
the Peter Sellers movie The Party. Jim Herzfeld has been signed
up to write the script with MGM hodling an option on the foreign
distribution rights with Dream Works taking the US rights.
Saturday
12th October 2002: The Party Update:
Producer Darren Star is going to remake The Party with Priscilla Presley. The
Party originally starred Peter Sellers. Darren Star is planning to make the movie
his directorial debut. No word on cast or a writer or even if they will follow
the original's plot.
