Thursday 18th November 2004: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief update:
Shrek writer Joe Stillman will pen Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief an adaptation of the children's book for Fox 2000. The book, due next year, is the story of a young boy in modern-day America who discovers he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon and must avert a deadly war between the gods in order to save his mother.

Fox 2000 have optioned the kids book Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan for Maverick Films to produce.
