19th November 2004: Pride and Prejudice update:
The fan site Keira
Knightley Wavefront has masses of set pics from the latest
Pride and Prejudice adaptation. The Universal Pictures film
of the Jane Austen novel, directed by Joe Wright, is the classic
tale of an opinionated young woman and an arrogant, rich snob
who overcome their initial antipathy and various other social
obstacles to fall in love. Brenda Blethyn, Donald Sutherland,
Jena Malone, Judi Dench, and Rosamund Pike also star.

2004: Pride and Prejudice Update:
Matthew Macfadyen will star as Mr Darcy opposite Keira Knightly
in the latest film version of Pride and Prejudice. Rosamund
Pike has also been added as Elizabeth's perfect older sister
Jane while Jena Malone plays youngest sister Lydia.

The young Keira Knightley has signed on the line to star in
the new adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. She's set to play
Elizabeth Bennet, the eldest of five sisters in a British family
ruled by a mother determined to marry her daughters into money.

28th April 2004: Pride and Prejudice Update:
Keira Knightley is near to signing on for the role of Elizabeth
Bennet in Working Title's adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride
and Prejudice. Joe Wright is to direct from a Deborah Moggach
and Lee Hall script.
