As if it wasn't bad enough that
Sylvester Stallone was getting another chance
at a big screen return with Rocky 34 (well it
feels like that not 6), news comes today is
that he is getting a second last chance at big
screen success with Rambo IV. The movie is being
developed on a budget of $50 million by Emmett/Furla
Films and Equity Pictures. The movie will follow
Rambo as he has to abandon his reclusive life
in the US to free a missing girl captured in
Mexico.

Nu Image/ Millennium Films have acquired the
rights to the "Rambo" film franchise
from Miramax/Dimension Films. Principal shooting
for "Rambo IV" is set to start in
Sofia, Bulgaria in January 2006, with filming
locations in India and the USA. Sylvester Stallone
signed with Nu Image/Millennium Films to start
"Rambo IV" in May 2005 and revealed
that the production company had optioned a book
for the new "Rambo," for which he
has adapted a complete script. In the new film,
Rambo has been living with his family in relative
peace for the past fifteen years but still working
for the military. Work pressures force him to
move his family to the American outback. The
Navajo-Indian former Green Beret and his family
are attacked by white-supremacists, and Rambo
has to risk life-and-limb to rescue his 10-year
old daughter from being held hostage.
