2nd August 2002: New Red Dragon Trailer
I first saw this, the second trailer for Red Dragon this morning
but didn't have time to post it. The promo features more footage
from the film. Is it me or is there a lot of dialogue that
is exactly the same as in Michael Mann's Manhunter. the original
adaptation of Thomas Harris's novel. I do like the part where
Graham approaches Lector's cell where is lying down inside,
and not stood up straight as he is when Clarice Starling in
Silence Of Lambs. Very good. Anyway take a look for yourself.
Just hit the link.

July 2002: Red Dragon Update:
The
second teaser poster for Brett Ratner's Red Dragon is
now online. This one has gone with the image of Hopkins
as Lecter rather than with the film's lead villain The
Tooth Fairy, who we saw in the first teaser poster.
Edward Norton can also be seen on the poster, walking
down that infamous row of cells. Check out the poster
on the right and click through for a larger version.
Details on where you can purchase the teaser will be posted
as soon as possible. |

14th June 2002: Red Dragon Update:
The first six pages from Ted Tally's screenplay for Red Dragon
have been posted on the internet. The script, based on the
novel by Thomas Harris, looks to have been scanned and is
thought to be the real thing. The most notable thing about
the script is the early inclusion of Hannibal Lecter, and
he appears from page one. his only scenes in the former adaptation
of the novel, Manhunter by Michael Mann, were in the psychiatric
hospital. In that movie he was played by Brian Cox. Check
out MovieFreak
for the script, but go as soon as you can, as I have a feeling
that it will be pulled sooner rather than later.
