15th February 2005: Running Scared:
In a $6 million deal, New Line Cinema has acquired distribution
rights to "Running Scared,"an action-drama
starring Paul Walker. Walker plays Joey, a low-level
gangster who has only one night to get back his gun
with the help of his son (Cameron Bright) and his wife
(Vera Farmiga), after a neighbor's son steals it. Chazz
Palminteri also stars. Wayne Kramer (The Cooler) is
the director and screenwriter.

2004: Running Scared Update:
Comedian Wayne Brady is set to appear in Running Scared
for director Wayne Kramer. The project stars Paul Walker
as a father whose 10-year-old son comes into possession
of a gun used in the shooting of a police officer. It
puts the whole family in danger.
Monday
22nd March 2004: Running Scared Update:
Media 8 Entertainment have came on board to finance
director Wayne Kramer's next movie Running Scared. Starring
will be Paul Walker and the movie takes place over the
course of one night and concerns two 10-year-old boys
who get their hands on a mob gun with which a cop was
shot. The father of one of the boys (Walker) must take
to the streets in a desperate bid to recover the weapon
before the mob finds out it's missing.

22nd January 2003: Running Scared Update:
Writer/Director
Wayne Kramer will make his next project Running Scared
for Lions Gate Entertainment. Running Scared will follow
a father and son on a night that centres on a the after
effects of two kids finding a mob gun who get chased
by a mobster trying to get it back.
