Now this is the movie that is supposed to make Kelly Brook
a real movie star. All the hype I've heard about it suggests
that it is. But then why is she surrounded in it by so much
TV actors? It looks so much like a Sunday night ITV light entertainment
comedy instead of a big screen night out?

For Seduction Update:
Lesley has sent in the following update on School for Seduction
"Kelly Brook is currently back in Newcastle re-shooting final
scenes. Kelly plays the role of femme fatale Sophia Rossalini
who passes on her knowledge of the art of seduction to Geordie
lasses. Starring Tim Healy and local find Jessica Johnson, as
well as Dervla Kirwan, the production company Ipso Facto has
high hopes for its success. Producer Christine Alderson
said: "Everyone has been really excited about the film and the
distributors and financiers are happy to put more money into
it, so we want to make it perfect". Star of the film, Jessica
Johnson landed the part after being chosen ahead of more than
200 other aspiring actresses when she was studying performing
arts at Gateshead College last September."

Kelly Brook's big screen debut School of Seduction has started filming in Newcastle, England it has been revealed. The production has been filming scenes at the Newton Park Hotel, and this has caused a great deal of excitement with the local geordies all hoping to catch a glimpse of Ms. Brook & Co filming. There has been talk of Robson Greene taking part in the filming but at this stage it can't be confirmed if it was him or what part he took. Thanks to Lesley for the info!

 Tuesday 15th April 2003: School For Seduction Update:
More details have emerged about English comedy School For Seduction, which
will star UK TV presenter Kelly Brook. Due to start filming next month, the
movie is about an Italian femme fatale, played by Brook, who sets up a
school in Newcastle to teach women how to get what they want. Newcomer Sue Heel is directing a cast including Tim Healy, Dervla Kirwan, Margi Clarke
and Emily Woof from a script by herself and Martin Herron. Brook also said
earlier this year that she will have a role in Tom Cruise's Mission:
Impossible 3, although that has yet to be confirmed by Paramount.

Former TV presenter Kelly Brook is to play an Italian temptress who teaches
a group of Geordies about the art of romance. She is set to star in British
movie School of Seduction, being filmed in Newcastle, which has been
described as the female equivalent of The Full Monty. The model's acting
career has taken off since moving to Los Angeles, where she won parts in
Smallville and Sex and the City
