Thursday 26th February 2004: Scooby Dooby 2: Monsters Unleashed Update:
Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed that she won't EVER work with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. again, hurrah! "It's difficult to live with someone and come to work too. I wouldn't recommend it. Luckily in this situation, we were doing a big action, fun, cartoon movie. It wasn't serious and I didn't go home every night wondering: "'However will I say my one line tomorrow? "It was a little bit easier and freer, but I don't think you'll ever be seeing the big drama story between us."

Monday 16th February 2004: Scooby Doo 2 Update:
Writer James Gunn has been talking to Moviehole about the Scooby Doo sequel...

"It [Scooby Doo 2] is sleeker, faster, and furrier. The cast were much more comfortable with their roles, and have all upped their game. Raja was much more confidant, which shows up on screen. The movie is a lot more character-oriented, actually. The studio was a little freaked out when they first saw it – in a good way...it is a lot different from the first movie. The mystery is much more of a mystery – in the last movie we had one real suspect, and then a couple of faux suspects. In this movie we have at least four real suspects.

Oh yeah, and the action – there are many bigger, more fun action sequences in this movie. We have a great sequence with Scooby and Shaggy dirt-boarding down the side of a mountain on trash can lids, followed by a couple of skeleton men with eyeballs for heads. We also have a great sequence with the Pterodactyl Ghost chasing the Mystery Machine through the city streets of Coolsville".

Tuesday 13th May 2003: Scooby Doo 2 Update:
Seth Green has been talking about filming Scooby Doo 2 "I get to work with
my friends," Green tells IGN FilmForce. "It just seemed like a lot of fun.
It's a good opportunity for me to do something completely different than
I've done. It's a great cast, but more than anything it just seemed like a
lot of fun. I work a total of 25 days out of their 4 months that they're
shooting. So, there's not a lot of responsibility for me as an actor on
this movie. I'm playing a professor; a museum curator. I'm not any cartoon
character. I don't have to live up to a design. I get to be this whole new
character. The way I've been joking about it with my friends is I'm playing
Batman or The Harlem Globetrotters. So, I'm like, 'Secret guest star: Don
Knotts! I've been wanting to work with Matthew Lillard for a while, and we
got to do some scenes together. And it's a scene with Scooby-Doo! You know?
Come on!"
