Looks like Miramax still haven't figured out what to do with Shaolin Soccer as word reaches us that they've pulled the August 15th release date for the dubbed version and will instead release the subtitled one in a limited fashion on September 5th.

Monday 3rd February 2003: Shaolin Soccer Update:
The US release date of Shaolin Soccer has changed to August 8th.

Shaolin Soccer is a Hong Kong comedy that Miramax picked up at Cannes this year. Sounds like it could be a ton of fun, like have we ever seen football mixed with Kung Fu before?

It looks like the release date has finally been set as April next year after much changing of mind by Miramax.

Word isn't so good on the dubbing of the movie, but at least the original is good having won tons of awards.
