'Gareth' has sent us a review for the
Brad Pitt/ Robert Redford thriller Spy Game.
"The
film is first rate and moves along at a solid pace. The cast
is solid and Redford once again shows why he is a modern master
of his profession. Pitt gives a strong performance and shows
Tom as an individual with passion, devotion, and loyalty.
Spy Game is a strong, well-acted film that not
only entertains, but also makes you think about those individuals
who makes sacrifices daily in order to protect our nation
and in these difficult times, the message is even stronger."

Aint
It Cool have scored two public screening reviews of Spy
Game. The first reviewer outlined the movies plot, "Nathan
Muir (Robert Redford) is a CIA agent on his last day on the
job at Langley when he hears that an old protege of his, Tom
Bishop (Brad Pitt) has been captured, and goes on explaining
to a panel investigating the incident of their meeting in
Vietnam and Bishop's ensuing training once Muir recruits him
into the agency, while trying to somehow save Bishop from
his current predicament." He then goes on the comment
on the pace of the film. Now the second review is a little
more thorough and is not as positive as the first. Check
out Aint It Cool, there are minor spoilers in the second
review though.

Another spy movie to hit our screens this year. This one sees
Tony Scott back behind the camera for the first time since
the 1998 Will Smith vehicle Enemy Of The State.
Spy Game was shot from November last year to March this year
in Tel Aviv, Morrocco, Budapest and London. Additional interior
scenes were shot at Shepperton studios.
Spy Game also re-teams Brad Pitt with Robert Redford after
Redford directed Pitt in The River Runs Through It.
More news, pics and the trailer will follow soon.
