Monday 28th June 2004: Stealth Update:
The USS Abraham Lincoln served as the set for Rob Cohen's next project Stealth starring Josh Lucas, Jessica Biel, Jamie Foxx and Sam Shepard. In the film, Navy officials decide to use an unmanned version of the "Talon," but when one of the planes begins attacking friendly forces, Navy pilots are called in to save the planet from artificial intelligence.

Monday 10th May 2004: Stealth Update:
Just received word that Director Rob Cohen's actionfest Stealth will be filming in Leigh Creek S.A (near Roxby Downs), Australia on the 13th to 15th of May.

Tuesday 27th April 2004: Stealth Update:
Looks like the filming of Stealth in Australia is having some problems with a group in the Blue Mountains protesting against the movie filming there. The Blue Mountais Conservation Society are planning protests including blocking a road that the moviemakers will need to get access to where they are filming. Some local residents are very concerned about the abuse and misuse of the Grose Wilderness, the Blue Mountains National Park and the World Heritage Area. They are also very concerned about the environmental impacts as the 12.6 hectare area proposed for filming is very delicate and includes hanging swamp, mountain heath, open forest, transition zone between forest and swamp plus many beautiful rocky outcrops. The skeletal soils are likely to erode and the area is just starting to recover from the 2002 bushfire. The area includes the endangered Giant Dragonfly (Petalura gigantea) and the rare pink flannel flower (Actinotus forsythii) and probably contains some other threatened and endangered species - the field survey was inadequate. The swamp area is particularly fragile. No doubt the filmmakers will do everything they can to make sure that all of that isn't the case.

Wednesday 31st March 2004: Stealth Update:
Anon has been in touch to advise that the filming on Stealth is currently at Schofields Aerodrome, Schofields in Sydney. They have been filming the hangar sequence of the movie and also lots of pyrotechnics and a crash scene.

Friday 26th March 2004 Stealth Update:
Peter has been in touch to advise he managed to catch a glimpse of some filming for Stealth today and also some pics "They were filming Stealth at Govett’s Leap in the Blue Mountains Australia this afternoon 26/3/04, a girl was in this chair contraption and got out of it in the air and climbed up the rope towards the chopper. "

Monday 22nd March 2004: Stealth Update:
Stephen has just been in touch with the following news on the Stealth filming "filming for Stealth is happening this week on top of the building I work in: Glen Street, Milsons Point, in Sydney, Australia. Filming is happening Mon & Tue this week (i.e. today)."

Wednesday 11th February 2004: Stealth Update:
Rob Cohen has added Richard Roxburgh to the cast of Stealth that is filming in the far east. The movie follows elite pilots drafted to stop an artificial-intelligence Stealth fighter that has been programmed to kill and has run amuck.

Thursday 8th January 2004: Stealth Update:
Joe Morton has been signed to play the commander of an attack carrier in Columbia Pictures' "Stealth" for director Rob Cohen and producer Laura Ziskin. Memorable for his role as 'The Brother' in John Sayles' 1984 feature "The Brother From Another Planet", Morton is also noted for his portrayal as 'Dr. Miles Bennett Dyson' in James Cameron's 1991 "Terminator 2 : Judgement Day". He currently appears as 'Agent Dodge' in John Woo's "Paycheck" and recently wrapped "Back in the Day" co-starring Tia "Relic Hunter" Carerre, Ving "Pulp Fiction" Rhames and Ja "The Fast And The Furious" Rule.

Tuesday 16th December 2003: Stealth Update:
Jamie Foxx is to join Josh Lucas and Jessica Biel in Stealth. Foxx, Biel and Lucas will play elite pilots drafted to stop an artificial intelligence flyer who has been programmed to kill and has run amuck. The summer 2005 film is being readied for a February production start in Australia by director Rob Cohen.

Thursday 20th November 2003: Stealth Update:
Jessica Biel has signed up for Columbia's action flick Stealth, hopefully blasting it's way onto screens for Summer 2005. The project will be directed by Rob Cohen and also stars Josh Lucas. The film follows an artificial-intelligence program designed by the military to pilot jet planes and reduce the amount of human casualties but one of the AI pilots runs amok and starts killing people.

Thursday 15th October 2003: Stealth Update:
Josh Lucas will play the male lead in Columbia Pictures’ big-budget action
film Stealth, being directed by Rob Cohen for a Memorial Day, 2005 release.
The movie is set in the naval Air Force in the near future and tells the
story of an artificial intelligence pilot who is brought aboard to learn
combat skills from human pilots. When the A.I. pilot begins to have ideas of
his own, complications ensue. Lucas will play Ben Gannon, the senior pilot
in the human wing of the naval air force. Shooting is scheduled to start in
January on location in Australia, Thailand, New Zealand and China.

Monday 22nd September 2003: Stealth Update:
Word reaches us today that Director Rob Cohen has signed on to direct a
project called Stealth and has passed on XXX2 which will probably now be
directed by Lee Tamahori. Filming on Stealth will start in Australia
January 2004.
