Matt Damon has been talking about the marathon make-up sessions he had to endure for his latest role as a Siamese twin. He stars with Greg Kinnear in Stuck On You, a black comedy about two brothers who go to Hollywood to seek fame despite being joined at the side. However, being stuck to your co-star for more than 12 hours a day isn't exactly a barrel of laughs. "We were falling, bumping into things," he explained. "We would get up at three in the morning and they actually had to do all the hard work. We just had to kind of stand there and not move for 12 hours, which was kind of an exercise in patience I guess." Added Damon: "The Farrelly brothers have a lot of love for these two characters. They've been working on this movie for 12 years. There were all these different incarnations in which Jim Carrey and Woody Allen were gonna be been paired together. Listening to them talk about these two characters, it was kind of clear that it would be a movie with some tasteless jokes in it, but that it was done really appreciatively and respectfully and the two guys at the centre of the movie are winners throughout and are accepted for who they are."

Some more info in today on the Stuck on You filming "The production was filming in a theatre with Greg's character is doing his acting on stage. They had several extra's come in as the audience and they shot some very nice film with Greg's character acting on stage. A lot of the staff were saying their good bye's and a lot of photo ops were available with Matt and Greg along with the director's. This went on for at least three days by the orange bowl in Miami." Filming on Stuck on You has started in Miami Florida at the FIU Football Stadium. Scenes shot there included Matt and Greg playing Football with 2500 extras looking on with a marching band alos present and may have been a flashback scene to the characters college days.

Just received the following short report for Stuck on You "I recently was at the Miami Beach shoot of Stuck On You, as in extra in the LA Night club scene, and let me tell you it was two very long days. Almost 15 hours on Wednesday, and 17 on Thursday. At the end of the shoot the cast was awesome, they took time to thank all of the extras and Matt personally Thanked us all. I have to say that this is a great movie and the cast has worked very hard at it....It was a great fight scene they were filming." Thanks to Frighteniken!

The first image of Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear in Stuck On You has appeared online Click Here The scene is of filming at the Dorothy Talbot Rink at Gloucester's O'Maley Middle School, which served as the setting for a hockey scene in the upcoming film. In the comedy, the Siamese twins play a goalie "One of them runs a successful business in Martha's Vineyard," said MacEachern, referring to the island for which Rockport is the stand-in. "So the other one says, 'Well, we did what you wanted to do, now let's go to Hollywood.'" And off they go to pursue an acting career, or careers. But not before kicking a little puck in youth hockey.With Kinnear's character representing the pair's left half and Damon taking the right -- stick-side and glove-side, respectively, if you're keeping score -- Walt and Bob supposedly become athletic standouts."The premise of a three-legged goalie is a bit unique," said MacEachern, who has seen his share of hockey, "but they've made it work. They could sell it. They certainly fill up the goal, that's for sure."

Bobby Farrelly has been talking about the decision to sign up Meryl Streep in Stuck On You "Somewhere along the way, we bumped into Meryl and she told us that she always wanted to do comedy and to please keep her in mind,'' Bobby Farrelly said. "And we thought, 'What do we do with Meryl? What do we do with Meryl?' So we decided to have her play a comedic version of herself."

Directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly haved signed on to write and direct Stuck On You. They are hoping to sign up Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear to star in the movie that follows a set of conjoined twins when one conjoined twin decides to follow his dreams of making it in Hollywood, and persuades his sibling to go along for the ride. 20th Century Fox will produce Stuck On You with filming thought to be starting in Feruary 2003. The Farrelly brothers wrote the movie ten years ago with Bennett Yellin and Charlie Wessler. They are aiming for a PG 13 certificate on release.
