13th October 2004 Surviving Christmas Update:
A lot hangs on Surviving Christmas for a certain ex beau
of J.Lo. This will be either the end of his mainstream movie
career or the start of his rebuilding of a career that has
so spectacularly self destructed this last twelve months.
So what has it got in it's favour, well it co-stars James
Gandolfini and Christina Applegate. But against it the director
is Mike Mitchell who directed the nascent Deuce Bigalow: Male
Gigolo. Could go either way.

6th February 2003: Surviving Christmas Update:
Just received the following report that sheds a lot more
light on the supposed trouble on Surviving Christmas set "Filming
began in Old Towne Orange on Tuesday (2/4) and is slated to
end Thursday (2/6) evening. Despite rumors of cast problems
and a general unhappines on the set, a crew member informed
me the relocation from Chicago to Southern California was
based solely on weather problems. Apparently the temperature
has been hovering around 70 degrees in Orange all week and
is no problem; artificial snow and ice has been shipped in
daily. Ben Affleck, Christina Applegate, and Catherine O'Hara
have all been on the Orange set, no sign yet of James Gandolfini."

4th February 2003: Surviving Christmas Update:
Just received the following set report from "Orange
Boy" about the filming of the Ben Affleck starring Surviving
Christmas " Filming of Surviving Christmas has started
at "the circle" in the City of Orange, California
in Orange County, about 35 miles south of Hollywood. The circle
is a traffic circle in the center of a 30's-40's period looking
area in downtown Orange. I don't know how many days they're
going to be there but it solves the mystery of why the city
didn't remove the Christmas decorations. A friend of mine
came out of his apartment this morning to find four inches
of snow on the sidewalk, an unusual occurrence on a day where
the temperature is pushing 70 degrees."
 Tuesday
4th February 2003: Surviving Christmas Update:
Reports are circulating that filming on Surviving Christmas
isn't going too well with reports of daily changes to the
script. The shoot is being delayed until the problems are
sorted out. James Gandolfini is reported to have refused to
leave his trailer until some scenes were written in a way
that made sense. Word is that production is even getting uprooted
from Chicago to L.A. which may make things even more complicated.

Christina Applegate on the 28th. " Thanks Nina!
