Neal Moritz and Original Film are to produce the big screen version of 21 Jump Street for Paramount. The TV series ran from 1987-1990 on Fox and starred Johnny Depp.

Just received the following info about the 21 Jump Street movie "'singer/actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is in talks to join the cast of the "21 Jump Street" film. Series mastermind Stephen J. Cannell, and cocreator Patrick Hasburgh have apparently expressed interest in getting Love Hewitt on board, with hopes that she'll stay on with the series should it become a hit film franchise. Johnny Depp and Richard Grieco - the stars of the original series - are tipped to cameo, but other actors will be chosen to play their original parts." Thanks to David!
