3rd November 2003: Paint Update:
Robert Altman's Ultrviolet has been renamed Paint. The
movie will star Salma Hayek and James Franco, written
by Jeffrey Lewis from a story by Lewis and Altman.The
thriller, set among the denizens of the New York art
scene, centers on a murdered painter and his younger
fellow-artist brother, played by Franco. Hayek will
play a documentary filmmaker drawn into the brothers'
private world while working on a project about the late
painter. Filming will take place in New York from February
to May.

7th October 2003: Ultraviolet Update:
FilmJerk
have been in touch with the following "According
to FilmJerk.com sources, Cameron Bright has been cast
as perfect little boy Six in Screen Gems’ Ultraviolet,
starring Milla Jovovich. The child actor has recently
finished filming lead roles in two films due for release
in 2004: "Godsend," starring Robert DeNiro,
and "Birth" with Nicole Kidman. According
to one source, a relative, he is extremely excited about
this new role as he feels vampires are neat, but Screen
Gems was not able to confirm that Bright has been cast
in the Ultraviolet role.

Thursday 14th May 2003: Ultraviolet Update:
Director Robert Altman has signed up Salma Hayek
and James Franco for Ultraviolet. The movie is being
produced by Capitol Films with a budget of $16 million.
The movie has been written by Jeffrey Lewis and will
start filming this September.
