M. Night Shyamalan has told Entertainment Weekly that he can't make up his mind whether to do a sequel to Unbreakable or not. "I keep struggling with whether to do it or not. It's hard because I feel a little upset that it split audiences, but I'd love to see what that guy's life is like now. How does he orchestrate his life so that he doesn't touch people?" he adds, "And then his wife doesn't know, but [his] kid knows that dad's a superhero - that's so f---ing fun! I'd love to do that." Well, Night, let me make up your mind for you. DO IT!

More news on this possible sequel to last year's superb Unbreakable. Bruce Willis has sat sown with a local newspaper reporter in Idaho. The question of whether there would be a sequel or not came up and WIllis responded, "I would love Sam to come in on it if it took off. Have him torture my character a bit. Toy with him. they could just do something without me. I am almost superfluous in that movie. It was really about him. I have not signed on, and Shamy is doing Signs and he has some other stuff. I write this page as we begin to hear whispers of a sequel to last years fantastic film starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. Now in my mind this films is way better that Shaymalan's first hit The Sixth Sense.

I saw Unbreakable just a couple of weeks ago, and I must say this film, if you've been stupid enough to miss it (as I did until recentley), really is one of the best cinematic experiences i've had the pleasure of watching this year and news of a sequel excites me beyond belief.

The recent rumours started with Shyamalan speaking in a interview with Dark Horizons regarding the Unbreakable DVD, plus various other people hearing a radio interview with Bruce Willis in the States saying that the sequel will definately happen. "I have been in contact with the studio about this,” said Shyamalan. “Initially they declined a sequel because the film did not really perform like the Sixth Sense. But after the success of the DVD set, they are a little more receptive to the idea. I was always kind of mixed about the prospect of doing a sequel but I had always had little treatments here and there I had jotted down while I was making the first." Now these may only be rumours, but i've heard them from a number of different internet sources, but nothing official has been said about the project.
