Premise/Synopsis: story of a multimillion-dollar businessman in New
York known as P Miller (short for his real name, Percy
Miller), who is also a world-famous rapper. When Miller's
sister, a single mother living in suburban California,
becomes ill, she asks her brother to come and take care
of her three children.Upon arrival, Miller finds himself
out of his element as he becomes the children's caretaker
and surrogate father. The more time he spends with them,
the more he realizes there is more to life than his
business, and he slowly begins to learn the importance
of family. He also helps the kids with their own problems.

Beacon Pictures have come aboard the recently filmed Uncle P that stars rappers Master P and Lil' Romeo that has been directed by Bernard Gourly and written by Dallas Jackson.

4th February 2003: Uncle P Update: Director Bernard Gourly has signed up Master P and
Lil' Romeo (rappers and yes I hadn't heard of them either!)
to star in a comedy to be called Uncle P. The movie
doesn't have a distribution deal yet and Master P is
helping finance the movie with a few million dollars
of his own money. The script has been written by Dallas
Jackson and tells the story of a multimillion-dollar
businessman in New York known as P Miller (short for
his real name, Percy Miller), who is also a world-famous
rapper. When Miller's sister, a single mother living
in suburban California, becomes ill, she asks her brother
to come and take care of her three children.Upon arrival,
Miller finds himself out of his element as he becomes
the children's caretaker and surrogate father. The more
time he spends with them, the more he realizes there
is more to life than his business, and he slowly begins
to learn the importance of family. He also helps the
kids with their own problems.Romeo plays the middle
child, a mischievous 12-year-old who desperately needs
a father figure in his life.
