Joe Pantoliano and Donald Faison will star in "Under My Skin" for brothers Mike and Steve Cerrone, who will make their directorial debut on the film. They co-wrote the script with Glenn Nicholas Ciano. It tells the story of little Renato who is found floating in a river in Italy and is then spirited off to the U.S., where he is raised by his doting parents Enzo (Pantoliano) and Maria. Renato (Faison) is African American by birth, and the truth about his parentage shocks him and his Jewish girlfriend Laura. Filming is set to start in April on location in Providence, Rhode Island.
