Scott Free Entertainment and 20th Century Fox are to remake 1971's Vanishing Point with music video director Samuel Bayer helming. Paul Bernbaum adapts the script from the original which revolved around a maverick's bet that he could drive from Denver to San Francisco in just 15 hours in a supercharged 1970 Dodge Challenger.
