Guess
it was inevitable after the news we were getting
a Transformers movie that more toys would start
to be made into movies, and today comes the
news that Voltron: Defender of the Universe
is doing just that. Producer Mark Gordon, music
producer Pharrell Williams, World Events Productions
and producers Mark Costa and Ford Oelman will
shepherd the toy line to the screen. The script
will follow five maverick explorer-pilots who
must travel to the planet Arus to learn how
to operate Voltron, a giant mechanical warrior
formed by five smaller robots.
