19th October 2002: Wallace and Gromit: The Great Vegetable Plot Update:
Nick Park has been talking about the in development Wallace and Gromit movie and
specifically The Great Vegetable Plot subtitle "That was the working title
of the Wallace and Gromit feature. I can tell you that in the way we often borrow
movie references (Ealing comedies, Hitchcock, etc.), this one borrows most from
B-movie horror and British horror. But it's also about vegetables, so we often
describe it as a vegetarian horror movie. The rest you'll have to imagine."
Tuesday
15th October 2002: Wallace & Gromit: Crazy Contraptions Update:
Aardman are gearing us up for the eventual Wallace & Gromit movie with ten
new one minute shorts that can be viewed online and then on BBC1 later in the
year. Nick Park had this to say "partly to train people up for doing the
feature film. We wanted to get Wallace and Gromit out there again because we missed
them really...I was nervous at first because no-one has animated them for a long
time. But it's worked a treat. I've been very impressed" Nick Park is currently
writing the script for the Wallace & Gromit movie.
