Premise/Synopsis:
The
historical epic concerns Celtic queen Boudicca and her
uprising against the Romans occupying Britain in the
first century A.D. Boudicca, a familiar character to
British schoolchildren who's also known as Boadicea,
became the leader of the Celtic Iceni tribe after the
death of her husband. When the Roman governor tried
to invade her lands, she led a military uprising, defeated
legions and burned London to the ground.

David Auburn will pen the screenplay to Warrior Queen for Paramount.
