Premise/Synopsis:
In the 1930's, there were two amazing boxers, the
United States' Joe Louis and Germany's Max Schmeling.
At the time, before the United States entered World
War II, the two boxers became metaphors for the two
countries. The fights between the men were so influential
on their nations, they also became political battles.
The movie will be as much about Max Schmeling as it
is about Joe Louis. Often protrayed as a symbol of Nazi
Aryan supremacy, Schmeling actually helped Jews during
the War
