Monday 17th March 2003: Werewolf By Night Update:
Hans Rodionoff has been talking about the script polish that Robert Nelson Jacobs has done on Werewolf By Night "Writing a movie like 'Werewolf By Night' is like building a house. It requires a bunch of different specialists.
You wouldn't ask your electrician to put in your bathtub, and it's sort of the same situation here. The more complex the story, the more specialists
required. 'Lord of the Rings' is a good example. 'The Two Towers' is a horror movie, an action movie, a love story and a coming of age drama all in
one. And it works on all levels. I think that 'Werewolf' has the potential to be that kind of movie, and Robert Nelson Jacobs is a really talented
writer. I can't wait to see what he does."

Tuesday 25th February 2003: Werewolf By Night Update:
Dimension Films has signed up Robert Nelson Jacobs to write the screenplay for Werewold By Night. The movie is being executive produced by Avi Arad who had this to say "It is our aim to bring the werewolf genre to mainstream audiences in the same character-driven way we have done with our other superhero films,Werewolf by Night' is at its core a beautiful love story reminiscent of the great Shakespearean tragedies. It needs the meticulous heartfelt crafting that Robert Nelson Jacobs is known for."

Werewolf By Night is a Marvel Comics property that Marvel have shopped to Dimension Films. Mravel are producing it alonsgide Crystal Sky Entertainment with Jesse Berdinka looking after the project for Dimension Films.David Goyer was approached to direct but he didn't take up the offer but word now is that John Fasano has signed up to direct Werewolf By Night.

Having a dig round on imdb sheds light that Fasano previously directed Universal Soldier: The Return and Another 48 Hours. Now That doesn't make me excited at all for this project as they were both turgid nonsense. Still, this isn't a sequel project so may be a breakout project for him.
