Thursday 24th February 2005: Yes Update:
Joan Allen is one of the finest actresses currently working, but let's be honest her name doesn't exactly open a movie. Which is a damn shame as her performances are usually of a very high quality. Take for instance her role in The Contender or The Bourne Supremacy or the leading role she has in the upcoming Upside of Anger. So this should be one to watch as well, especially when it's written and directed by Sally Potter who was responsible for the underrated Orlando and The Tango Lesson. Very strong material for this one that examines religious, political and social taboo's when an American woman falls in love with a Middle Eastern guy. 24th June 2005 is the US release date.
