Douglas is the latest name to join the cast
of You, Me and Dupree it has been announced
today. The movie is being directed by Joe and
Anthony Russo with a script by Mike LeSieur.
Already signed on are Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson
and Matt Dillon. The movie will centre on a
newlywed couple that allows the groom's best
man to stay with them after the wedding, only
to quickly regret it. Douglas will play the
over-the-top, controlling father of the bride.

Dillon is the latest addition to the cast for
the Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson starring You,
Me and Dupree. Dillon will play Hudson's husband
in the movie that tells the tale of a newlywed
couple whose relationship problems boil over
when the groom's unemployed best man, Dupree
(Wilson), moves in with them for a brief period
and seems to have no intention of leaving.

Posted by: Gary Gray: Kate Hudson is joining Owen Wilson in the Universal Pictures comedy You, Me and Dupree, says Production Weekly. Joe and Anthony Russo (Arrested Development) will direct from a script by Mike LeSieur. Owen Wilson stars as best man Randy Dupree who stays on as a houseguest with newlyweds Carl and Molly Petersen, ultimately wearing out his welcome. The studio is eyeing a start date later this year, possibly as early as August. Wilson can next be seen in Wedding Crashers this Friday and Hudson in supernatural thriller The Skeleton Key on August 12.

Joe and Anthony Russo ("Arrested Development") will direct "You, Me and Dupree" for Universal Pictures. Owen Wilson will produce and star in the comedy about a best man who stays on as a houseguest with the newlywed couple, finally wearing out his welcome. Mike LeSieur wrote the script. Filming may begin in August.
